Irrigation / Landscape - Lawn/Sod Install Update:

Irrigation:

While our new timer is up and running, we have unfortunately run into several wiring issues that have caused incomplete run times as a result of the casing of the wires disintegrating due to age. Ultimately, we will need to replace all of the irrigation wiring down the road. In the interim, we will be replacing the wiring from the main electrical line (that runs behind all of our homes) to the valve boxes of approximately 48 homes.

Lawn/Sod Replacement - 2025

Juarez has begun the process of preparing lawns for selective sod replacements. Please excuse the appearance during this process. We are hoping to have this phase completed by the end of January.

Exterior Home renovation requests

If you are doing any work on the exterior of your home inclusive of your Lanai, you must fill out an ARC request. This would also include Tree removal. Below are how to get to the forms including the Architectural Review Committee Guidelines (ARC) document, which are listed under “forms” on left column of our Novela website: Novelapalmira.com 

 There are Two ARC request forms on the website, one for tree removal and one for ALL other requests. 

Tree removal request form

  • A picture of the tree and the damage being done along with a letter from the tree company saying the tree is doing damage and should be removed.
  • The name of the tree you will be replacing the tree with
  • Return the form and pictures to our property manager along with the vendor’s business license and insurance.

All other ARC request form – this form is used for any changes to the exterior or landscaping of your home including the examples below.

  • Windows - If you are Installing new windows, there should be a sketch of where the windows are being installed and a picture of the windows and any specs.
  • Exterior Painting - If you are painting the exterior of your home, we need the vendor info along with the paint color name and number. Please designate which color is body and which color is trim and send with the request the paint strip showing the color. 

Reminder - SINGLE DAY WASTE COLLECTION begins Monday April 29
 

All Garbage, Recycling and Yard Waste will be collected on the same day. 

  • Please allow 3 feet between your garbage containers, recycling cart and yard waste.
  • Yard waste should be bagged or placed in a container
  • Containers must not exceed 50 pounds
  • Tree branches must not exceed six feet in length, six inches in diameter or 50 pounds
  • You can set your materials for collection at the curb the night before or not later than 6:30 am the day of your collection.
